Loopcloud 8 adds "intelligent" idea tools and an iPhone app. Is it AI, or a smarter sample browser?
Loopmasters has released Loopcloud 8, with Inspire (genre-based track starters), Listen (sample suggestions matched to your track) and prompt-style search, plus Loopcloud's first iOS app. Neither the launch coverage nor Loopcloud's own pages call the new tools generative AI. What they describe is matching and assembling from a human-made library, and we think that is the more useful thing for artists.
