  • Suno's custom models go shared. Who owns a model trained on your catalogue?

Suno now lets teams share song libraries in Workspaces and lets Premier users share custom models trained on their own uploads, a week after Studio got tighter timing, clip stretching and fade curves. The tools point towards a collaborative studio. Suno's terms say nothing about who owns a shared model or the songs made with it.

  • Time-stretching and pitch-shifting explained: how the algorithms work and which one to pick

Changing a recording's tempo without changing its pitch (or the reverse) is something every DAW does, but not in the same way. This guide explains the three families of algorithm behind warp and flex modes, what each one breaks, and a step-by-step way to choose the right mode for drums, vocals, full mixes and sound design. Manuals and papers checked on 25 Oct 2026.

  • Accessible music production tools: a practical guide for screen reader and keyboard users

Making music without a mouse or without sight is more practical in 2026 than it has ever been. This guide covers the main options, REAPER with the free OSARA extension and Ableton Live 12 with built-in screen reader support, what each does well, where each still falls short, and how to set up a working session. Facts checked against the developers' own pages on 25 Oct 2026.

  • Making music in the browser: what browser DAWs can and cannot do

Browser DAWs run on the Web Audio API, which now processes audio on its own thread in small fixed blocks. That is enough for sketching, beat-making and remote collaboration. The hard limits are plug-ins, MIDI support in some browsers, input processing you have to switch off, and storage the browser can wipe. Here is what each limit means and how to work around it.

  • How to fix generated stems in your DAW: tempo drift, hiss and phase

Stems from a song generator often drift against the grid, carry a noise floor and fight each other in phase once you lay them out in a DAW. This guide gives the order to fix them in: lock the tempo at the source if you can, warp what is left, take noise out gently, and check polarity and mono before you mix. Every tool setting is taken from the vendor manuals, read on 24 Oct 2026.
