  • UMG licenses TYGER, an app that reshapes songs around your gameplay

Universal Music Group is the first major music company to license TYGER, a music app for gamers that adapts licensed recordings to live gameplay. It isn't a song generator, and it could be a new income line. But nobody has said whether artists will be paid like sync or like a stream, or whether they get a say in how their songs are reshaped.
