Hook raises $10M to let fans legally remix songs. The payout terms are still private
Hook, an app for licensed fan remixes and mashups, has raised a $10 million Series A led by Khosla Ventures. The pitch is that every remix pays the people who own the song, but the Hook announcements we read, going back to 2023, don't say how much, how often, or how an artist says no.
