Demucs separates drums, bass and vocals from the rest of the accompaniment, and an experimental six-source model adds guitar and piano. Version 4 uses Hybrid Transformer source separation, with htdemucs as the default model. It is released under the MIT license and installs with pip on Python 3.8 or later, with setup notes for Windows, macOS and Linux. The README says the repository is no longer maintained and that only important bug fixes will be handled in the author's fork.
